Kathryn F. Barton
CPA, CFP
Kathryn has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1982. She is also a Certified Financial Planner. She has served on and been a past chair of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants Estate and Financial Planning Committee. She practices in the areas of accounting, taxation, and estate and retirement planning.
Before joining Offutt & Barton in 1990, she was a senior accountant with W.O. Daley & Company and KPMG. She also served as accounting manager and contracts officer for Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute. She was graduated cum laude from Rutgers University, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was awarded a certificate in financial planning with honors from the University of Central Florida.
Mrs. Barton is a member and past president of the Indian River Estate Planning Council and a member of the Planned Giving Council. She is active in the Vero Beach Rotary Club and serves on its Charities Foundation. She currently serves on the City of Vero Beach Finance Commission and is a Board member of the Sebastian Charter Junior High, the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Foundation (VNA) and The Humane Society of Vero Beach.
