Ali is one of the partners of Offutt Barton Schlitt LLC, overseeing our Audit division. With more than 15 years of public accounting experience, she has been involved in providing tax advisory and compliance services to a wide range of companies both public and private.
Ali specializes in managing audits, tax compliance and accounting engagements for U.S. domestic and international clients doing business as single entities or as consolidated groups. She also has experience with a wide range of entity types, including C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and individuals. Ali also deals with complex state and local tax matters including revenue sourcing and nexus, apportionment, tax base, income classification and unitary filing requirements.

Prior to joining Offutt Barton Schlitt LLC, Ali served as a Tax Manager in KPMG LLP’s Tampa office. While at KPMG LLP, Ali managed compliance engagements for all entity types with emphasis on flow-through entity taxation. In addition to her federal compliance and consulting experience, Ali served as a KPMG point of contact for state reporting requirements for mixed group consolidations and combined reporting requirements for unitary groups. She has successfully disputed numerous tax assessments with state and local tax authorities, and has experience dealing with tax issues in nearly every taxing state in the U.S.
