Harry C. Offutt, III
Harry was accredited in business valuations and certified in financial forensics by the American Institute of CPAs. He practiced in IRS representation, income tax planning and compliance for all types of entities, estate planning and compliance, business valuations, business purchases and sales, consulting, forensic accounting and litigation support. He was previously appointed by the 19th Judicial Circuit Court as a special master, receiver and guardian.
A veteran U.S. Marine, Harry received his BS in accounting from Florida State University and completed advanced taxation courses at Vanderbilt University. Harry began his diverse financial background as an IRS Field Agent investigating individual, fiduciary, and corporate income tax returns and was appointed to a presidential organized crime drive. He was director/treasurer of Scott Mattson Farms, Inc., an international farming conglomerate, and was instrumental in negotiating its merger with Gulf & Western Industries. He was trustee/vice chair of the Vero Beach Police Pension Fund; past member of the Substance Abuse Council Advisory Board; past president of the Indian River Estate Planning Council.
